Standards and Accreditations

ISO 14001:2015

The international standard for environmental management systems, updated in 2015, has become the de-facto standard adopted by most leading companies. It doesn't mandate specific performance standards, but it requires organisations to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

The Carbon Trust Standard

Carbon Trust Standard recognises organisations that demonstrate the achievement of real reductions in their impacts relating to carbon emissions, water, waste and supply chain, providing a framework for organisations to enhance their operational sustainability, improve efficiency and resource management at the same time as cutting costs.

The Planet Mark

The Planet Mark certification is awarded to businessesproperties and new developments that are committed to reducing their carbon emissions. The programme builds employee and stakeholder engagement and creates positive environmental and social change. Uniquely, it develops knowledge and communication skills so as to embed sustainability within organisations. It’s straightforward and aimed at organisations of all shapes and sizes, anywhere in the world, and at any stage on their sustainability journey.
